Girl Time!

I spent the majority of my day sitting on my BUTT!!!!
That was a much needed break from my always CRAZY Days!
Sandy came over and we had Girl Gab Time.
It was great.
We feel like we have known each other forever!
These are the gifts she brought me today!
She knows me all too well already!

Theodore E Bear

Hello Blogland!
My name is Theodore E. Bear
I am a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern.
My creator says I need to go to a good home.
I need lots of TLC, A good place to sit, and very little to eat.
Just remember, If you do not treat me right,
I DO BITE!!!!!

I am up for adoption for the low fee of
$35.00 + Air Fare.
I promise not to bite anyone else...
actually it was an accident.......LOL
Believe it or not, I had to use a disposable razor for this bear...
apparently my thumb was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And they say a crafter's life is so easy.
If they only knew the hazards!!!!!!!

Every creation is so worth the knicks, cuts, needle pokes, burns & never ending boo-boos!!!!
I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!!

Here is the Special Order Bear that got me started on this project,
Squirten Lee Bear.
A Good Friend Requested a bear with a Snowman Hat Bowl Filler attached to his head!
He was dedicated to her dog (SQUIRT) that went to run with the angels
on the day this bear was born!!!!
Thank you Kristina for the wonderful idea!!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been making Faux Hanging Tobacco leaves ( available to purchase on my Mercantile Page), Cupboard Prints and even trying to make my own pattern for a stump doll
and possibly a church doll roll-up or pocket.
I received an order of dried goods and am dabbling in the thought of making dried garlands.
If I could ever get my brain to slow down,
I might be able to get more projects completed
before my brain has me chasing after products for the next project!
I will keep you all posted as to what I work on tomorrow!

Hope everyone had a lucky St Patty's Day!

Friend, Fun, Food, Finds!!!!!!

I went with Sandy again today.
We went to the Antique Show @ the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY.
There was so much there I wanted....I would have needed a U-Haul to get it all home!!!! OH, and a few more credit cards...Tee-hee-hee
After the Show, we went to lunch at a Burger Joint called "Five Guys Burger's & Fries"
It was definitely not on my Weight Watcher's "CAN HAVE" List,
but I had a burger anyways!
Next we went to a shop that I had never been to in Jamesville, NY.
Colonial Outfitter's is the name of the shop.
I need more than a U-Haul for that place!
I think I died and went to PRIM HEAVEN!!!!!
The shop is small, but what an amazing impact it makes!
A beautiful old stone building, with gorgeous old wood flooring!
The perfect place for the owner's to display their beautiful Goodes!
Here is everything I bought today....
The top Cheese Box at Colonial Outfitter's
The Rat at the Antique Show
The Measure and the Scoop at Colonial Outfitter's
The Crock at the Antique Show
The light Masher all the way to your right at the Antique Show
The Giant Firkin on the bottom at the Antique Show
.....And I was determined to have all six of Misi's Scavenger Hunt Items!
So I Purchased this for $2.00 at the Antique Show
A Pastry Roller!!!!!

And my Cheeseburger!!!!!!!

Sandy brought me a surprise today...
I just love the way she wrapped it!!!!!
I love my Mouse sooo much!
Hugs and Kisses to Sandy!
I named him ANDY!!!!!
I gave her one of the Slave Dolls I made yesterday!
We had another great day!
While I was at the Antique Show buying my crock,
A Lady stopped me, gave me her name and phone number and told me she has
crocks that she would like to sell to me!
When I came home I called her and I think we made a deal over the phone for all of her crocks!
I am supposed to meet her at the flea market in Syracuse tomorrow morning!
Wish me luck and hopefully they are worth the trip!
I am so excited, I will never sleep tonight!
It feels like Christmas!

Inspired by OLM!

During my hopping along thru Misi's Scavenger hunt posts
that everyone showed their 4-6 items they scavenged,
I came across one that really caught my eye!
Many had items in it I would love to make or buy for my home or shoppe.....
but this particular post was my inspiration for yesterdays project.
OLM~Marie posted her Scavenger Hunt items and in that post was this doll!
Well, I just had to have one!
I commented to OLM~Marie to see if she made them....I wanted to buy one soooo bad!
She did reply to me and after a few emails between us,
She told me the name of the dolls.
We had mentioned trying to create our own and send pictures to each other so we could laugh because they would like like aliens.
I do not have a lot of faith in my own creations and am a terrible critic of my work.
That is why I usually just stick to using patterns.
Finally, I searched the name of the dolls on google and did find this pattern from
So, The pattern is from Nanny Norton Prims,
but I give all of my Inspiration Credit to OLM~Marie for showing her Slave doll in her blog post!
Here are the pictures of the progress of the Slave Dolls....
They are quite a process of sewing, stuffing, staining, baking, staining more, sanding a little more, staining, baking, and a final soft sanding!
This is Before!
This is after one stain & bake session!
This is after multiple stain & bake sessions!
Two of these babies will be going to very special people!
My Forever BFF Andrea, who I love with all my heart!
And one will be going to my Newest BFF,Sandy!
The Three other babies are up for adoption to a loving PRIM Home!
This is the Finished Slave Doll!
This one, of course, belongs to me!
I just love her!
I have given my Slave Doll a name....
I would like you to meet
I chose that name to remind me of Marie! I used both of her initials...
Marie Morgan!
I didn't want to name her MARIE, because OLM already has the name Marie! LOL
Keep posting Ladies because you all inspire someone everyday!!!!!
