Aging Wooden Spoons

Since I already had a mess started,
I decided to age some Wooden Spoons while my Prairie Curtain was baking!
3 Pack of Wooden Spoons from the Dollar Store
Sand them til they look used, don't forget the back, handle and end!

Dab on a little black paint

Put them in a pot of Hot, strong instant coffee

Leave to soak (no more Heat)

Display as desired!!!!!

  1. Hi Becky - I just found your blog while wandering around in Blogland this morning and really enjoyed all your tutorials. Then I noticed that you were a fellow central New Yorker so I had to comment and say a big HELLO! I'm from a little town just west of Cortland...and it is so nice to 'meet' you!

  14. Aha! Very neat idea indeed! That gives it a much better aging look than painting, sanding, and antiquing. Love the outcome!
